Indian Circket Team palying.....at a private beach

Away from the city’s hustle bustle and the media frenzy, Team India took a day off and surrendered themselves to picturesque landscapes and nature trails. On Monday morning, the team took a break from training, clutched on to their backpacks, hopped on the coach and made their way to the Aravina Vineyard near the quaint Margaret River. Located close to 250kms away from the city of Perth, the winery is a good two and a half hour drive.

The roads leading up to the vineyard were nothing short of charming. With greens, fields and natural habitat on either side of the road, the Indian team is sure to have had their eye’s content. After the drive, the casuals gave way to beach wear. The sunscreens and shades were out to cool things off and it was time to soak in some sun and sand at a private beach.

The team’s fixation with football is well known and this time they had some sand for company as well. Footy aside, there was some time made for a round of beach volleyball too. After hours of beach gazing and sun tanning it was time to feast on some fine cuisine at the vineyard. With silence and serenity for company the team enjoyed a good lunch with smiles galore. A trip to the vines was there to be made and the boys got an essence of how the traditional authentic wine was made. The team then relaxed and cooled off near the beach and headed to their bus to get back to the team hotel with nothing but memories of an evening well spent.
